Legends have been passed down for generations within the wolf nation, about the ancestors who held an awesome power, and about the foolish omegas who created the wolves they are today. Although the stories have morphed and changed from tongue to tongue, one legend is as consistent as the blood that flows through them.

A long time ago a world beneath the Sky Land, was a world the wolves know as Awenasa. My home, it meant to the wolves, was a beautiful place, untouched by Man or Time. The creatures of this world within our world were great, powerful, and healthy. Everything and anything could survive on such a beautiful planet, and it was all thanks to the Gods. Put the Omegas of the Ancestors became greedy for power.

Everyone always knew about the Sky Land that loomed above them, but they were told by the Gods never to journey to the Sky Land. The greedy Omegas saw nothing wrong in journeying to the Sky Land, and so created a pack of their own and did what they were told not to.

The story goes on to say how the Omegas made it to the Sky Land, and were immediately stripped of their power and strength. Over the years they grew smaller, and when Man came along they were bred into dogs. The wolves today still tell this story, but with a different ending.

Now, a portal back to Awenasa has been discovered, and wolves from miles around have been pouring in. Two packs have already begun to form in the immediate land before the portal. The packs are expected to become very large because of the large amount of food in the land, and the wolves are already thriving.

But all cannot stay peaceful for long. During the night the packs will hear howling coming from the looming mountains to the East. The Ancestors are near, and still powerful. While they are still safe in their valley, only time will tell what the Ancestors will think of the new packs.
